Today, upon the invitation of the Chair of the Department of Architecture at EMU, I delivered a seminar titled “Artificial Intelligence in Architecture: Enhancing Research, Teaching, and Design.” I aimed to approach AI not merely as a tool, but as a part of ethical, creative, and pedagogical thinking.

I designed this session not as a traditional lecture, but as a space for collective reflection. Together with our esteemed faculty members, research assistants, and graduate students, we explored the multifaceted impacts of AI on the field of architecture.

The third part of the series, focusing on “AI in Design and Practice,” will be completed in the coming weeks. We hope to expand this process into a broader seminar series with active student involvement.

This was not just a seminar, but a gathering where we multiplied the questions we direct toward our understanding of education. My sincere thanks to everyone who contributed.

Bugün DAÜ Mimarlık Bölüm Başkanlığının davetiyle “Mimarlıkta Yapay Zekâ: Araştırma, Eğitim ve Tasarımı Güçlendirmek” başlıklı bir seminer gerçekleştirdim. Yapay zekâyı yalnızca bir araç değil, etik, yaratıcı ve pedagojik düşünmenin bir parçası olarak ele almak istedim.

Bu oturumu klasik bir sunumdan çok, birlikte düşündüğümüz bir alan olarak tasarladım. Değerli bölüm hocalarımız, araştırma görevlilerimiz ve lisansüstü öğrencilerimizle, mimarlıkta yapay zekânın etkilerini çok yönlü biçimde ele aldık.

“Tasarım ve Uygulamada Yapay Zekâ” başlığını kapsayan üçüncü bölümü önümüzdeki haftalarda tamamlayacağız. Süreci öğrencilerle birlikte daha geniş bir seminer dizisine dönüştürmeyi umuyoruz.

Bu sadece bir seminer değil, eğitim anlayışımıza yönelttiğimiz soruları birlikte çoğalttığımız bir buluşmaydı. Katkı sunan herkese teşekkür ederim.
