Antik Roma imparatorluğunun merkezinin milenyumlara meydan okuyan görkemi içinde Barok sanatının ihtişamı; Toscana bölgesinde Rönesans’ın daha dün doğmuş gibi tazeliği;  Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael, Leonardo Da Vinci, Angelico, Caravaggio, Bernini ve daha nicelerinin muhteşem eseleri ile baştan başa işlediği bir yarım ada… Giueseppe Verdi’nin gizeminde, Pavarotti’nin Napoli’de sokak sokak yankılanan güçlü sesinde, bir Fibonnaci dizilimi, kahve, tiramisu, permasan, pizza ve makarna ile gastronominin ana vatanlarından biri İtalya… Hayranı olduğum Dante Alighieri’nin geçtiği cehennem, araf ve cennet; Einstein’in teorilerini geliştirdiği  büyüleyici Galileo Galilei’in engizisyona direnişi; Salvatore Quasimodo’nun lirlik bir şiiri İtalya…

Through the warm waters of Mediterranean to the chilly shoulders of the Alps, Italy was like  four season’s of Vivaldi. It contained different climate at each region we visited from South to North, different tastes at each city. Within the confrontation of the Antique Roman Empier’s capital Rome to millenniums that holds the magnificence of Baroque art and the freshness of Renaissance as if it was born yesterday at the Tuscany region, Italy is a peninsula that was ornamented by the art works of Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael, Leonardo Da Vinci, Angelico, Caravaggio, Bernini and more. Italy is the place with the magic of Giueseppe Verdi and strong voice of Pavarotti that is echoing in every street of Naples, a Fibonnaci serial, one of homelands of gastronomy with its coffee, tiramisu, permasan, pissa and pasta. Italy is the inferno, purgatorio, paradiso of Dante Alighieri whom I adore ; the struggle of Galileo Galilei to the inquisition whom Einstein developed his theories from, and a lyric poem of Salvatore Quasimodo…
